Veteran Bollywood actor Govinda was admitted to CritiCare Hospital in suburban Juhu late Tuesday night after falling unconscious at his residence. The 61-year-old star experienced a sudden episode of disorientation that caused him to collapse, according to his friend and legal advisor, Lalit Bindal. This sudden health scare prompted immediate action from those around him.
Bindal confirmed that the incident took place late last night at Govinda's home. Before rushing the actor to the hospital, a quick telephonic consultation was made with a medical professional to administer preliminary medication. This ensured that the actor received essential immediate care before being admitted to the hospital for observation.
The situation escalated to the point that Govinda had to be admitted to the hospital's emergency unit around 1 am. "He was given medicine after consulting a doctor and was admitted to the hospital in emergency at 1 am," Bindal stated, confirming the urgency of the situation. While he is currently under medical supervision, the exact cause of the disorientation and fainting spell remains under investigation.
